I just heard her version of "O come, O come, Emmanuel". I'm very
impressed!
From what I've read here I'm a first-timer!), some of her recent
albums are well worth d/ling - e.g. "And Winter Came", as well as two
I don't know: "The Celts" (of which I am one!) and "TMOT" which refers
to a title that completely floors me )
Would anyone be kind enough to post any/all of these albums? I would
be grateful. Thank you.

I had an epiphany in the middle of the night! I realised that this
isn't a binaries group, so it's not appropriate to req downloads here.
Sorry about that!
However, if someone would be willing to d/l her albums to another ng,
please advise which and when ) Ta.

TMOT is "The Memory of Trees".
Unfortunately I think you'll find most of the people still reading here are
fans of Enya. As such we prefer her to be rewarded for her music. You could
always try downloading from iTunes! ;-)
Or you can always listen to some of Enya's music on www.enya.com (including
music videos).

Thank you, Peter. Believe it or not, I'm so used to downloading music
that it didn't even occur to me to go out and buy the CDs!!!
It's not as though I can't afford it. It's just so convenient to do it
on the computer.
I'll rush over to my nearest music store right away ) Thanks again
for the reminder - and the pointer to the website <smile>.

Correct.

Amazon have them very cheap and the MP3 files are not DRM encoded.
With that sort of system there is no need to post to any NG with the
files now.
However after listening to And Winter Came I am slightly dissapointed,
was expecting better after Trains and Winter rains, do like that
single very much, but a lot of the other stuff is Christmas oriented,
and we had two albums previously with that.

True enough! I'm not yet a dedicated fan, as most of the posters here
seem to be, so I haven't yet figured out which albums to buy.

I'm familiar with Orinoco Flow and I like it a lot. I've just come
across O Come, O Come, Emmanuel and was equally impressed. Lovely -
perhaps the best version of this perennial favourite that I've heard.
Aside from those two tracks, I'm thrust into the world of guesswork
)
(I'm old enough to remember the time when you could go into a booth
and listen to an LP before letting go of your hard-earned cash! I
guess that's why I look to the binary greoups before actually putting
my hand in my pocket!!!)
Thank you, Andrew. Good comments

My personal favourites are Watermark (contains Orinoco Flow (sail
away)), the Memory of trees, and the Celts. The Celts was actually
the first album that she released, and is such in my view is a bit
different from the other albums. I would probably look at
Watermark/The Memory of Trees first.
Thanks.

Thanks, Andrew. I appreciate the suggestions and will follow up on
them :)
