Amazing show even though it took forever to get home. I lost track of
the song order, but I'm sure someone will post it shortly. It was
unbelievabily hot and humid, I don't know how Billy wore THAT black
jacket. He kept wiping down with a wet towel - even wearing it on his
head.
The show started about 8:50 with The Natural theme and ended at
midnight.
National Anthem (just Billy at the piano)
Miami 2017 (with added Mets lyrics - they said the Mets could stay/for
one more show at Shea - or something like that)
Angry Young Man
My Life
The Entertainer
Summer Highland Falls
Zanzibar
(Magnificent Seven theme) The Ballad of Billy the Kid
Allentown
Downeaster Alexa (with violin by a guy from the Transiberian
Orchestra)
NY State of Mind (with Tony Bennett)
Root Beer Rag
Movin' Out
Goodnight Saigon
Don't Ask Me Why
This Night (which he dedicated to Little Anthony and the Imperials)
Keeping the Faith
(Spanish Harlem./Under the Boardwalk) An Innocent Man
Shameless (sung by Garth Brooks wearing a Mets jersey, BJ on piano and
sang a chorus)
She's Always a Woman
Lullabye
River of Dreams with A Hard Day's Night in the middle
Walk this Way (performed by Steven Tyler - I don't think BJ was even
on the stage)
We Didn't Start the Fire
My Generation (performed by Roger Daltrey, some background vocals by
BJ)
I Saw Her Standing There (Paul Mc Cartney with BJ on piano)
It's Still Rock and Roll to Me
You May Be RIght
encores
Scenes From an Italian Restaurant
Only the Good Die Young
Piano Man
Let it Be (McCartney on piano and vocals with BJ sitting there in awe)
I thought it was great that BJ let Paul have the final moment at Shea.
That's all I can remember now. Correct me because I know my list is
out of order. |

Again, Billy didn't deviate from the planned set list much....
All the surprise guests' entrances were on the sheet except Sir Paul -
I guess he wanted to keep this one a secret until the end.
Souvenir was an audible on Wed night and made the set list on 7/18 -
however he ran out of time and didn't play it.
