I just added another Mandolin to my collection. It is a Crestwood "A"
style. It had old strings on it but I thought it sounded good and
played well.
I may have overpaid for it, tho. I paid $100 for it. The owner had had
two strokes and could not play anymore and I could not make myself try
to negotiate him to a lower price. The Mando might be worth $100
anyway. He also had some Takamine guitars that were not bad that he
wanted $300 each for.
This will be great to have when I wand to play some where that I would
not want to take my 1978 Gibson "F" like a bluegrass jam that might
have wet conditions.
