I can just see the songs from Baptism being used for a superhero movie,
with a twist.
Each song is used for both the villain and the hero.
The villain being a small time Rock and Roll star who is developing a
mind control device to be subliminally sent out with his music.
He tries it out at a club and a young woman faints away.
He goes and visits her in the hospital and they run into each other for
the remainder of the movie.
She discovers that she now has superspeed and gets a skintight costume
because anything looser is outside the range of her protective field and
so shredded by the extreme speeds she runs at.
She stops a few small crimes and finally figures out what the villain is
up to and confronts him, which leads to the big battle sequence at the end.
Finally she talks him out of being a villain and they live happily ever
after, except for the occasional crisis that needs her superhuman
intervention.
As an example of how the songs would work, take Flash. The mask is
metaphorical in his case and literal in her case.
Most of the songs will be about his internal debate about the course he
is taking, as Kravitz himself has shown.
