After listening to a selection of Instant Live recordings and seeing a few
of the DVDs floating around out there of the '04 KISS tour, I am convinced
that KISS is still the greatest rock band in history. The success of this
tour is seen in the great shows they put on and the enthusiastic response of
those who attended.
Paul and Gene are masters at their craft. |

Success? In terms of what? Certainly not attendance.

You are absolutely correct. Not in total attendance. That horse was
thoroughly beaten to death in RMAK. All i'm saying is that, purely from the
point of view of a KISS fan, KISS gave a good show. Not a lot attended, but
those who did had a great time. As a fan, that's all I want. I good show,
good songs, fireworks, and a sore throat from all that screaming.
Obviously KISS has past their prime as a mainstream commercial success, but
as someone who was a fan from the beginning, i really don't care. As a fan,
I think their tour was a success.
