Hi folks,
Can anybody tell me what the lyrics of the song Two Minutes to
Midnight refer to? It's something about war etc., but does it refer to
some historical event? I also saw the video but, for me, it did not
answer my question.

Thus is spot on I think. I had read somewhere back in the 80's that this
referred to hiroshima

The lyrics refer to the doomsday clock - at that time, it was at 23:58
because of the nuclear threat from Russia and the USA.
