"Cocaine" by Eric Clapton, Song Facts.
http://www.songfacts.com/detail.php?id=1277
*Eric Clapton stopped performing this song (never released as a single),
eventually allowing it's return to live performance with a change of lyrics
"that dirty cocaine" for the back up singers to sing.
I myself can attest to the powers of cocaine, thus the reasons for listing
the above references. I'm not here to state, do cocaine and get hired by
the government, no that is not my purpose.
I'll leave my friend only to be known as "CD". He was raised by law
enforcement, been back and forth, to and fro the beautiful fields of
Oklahoma. His grandfather, a kind, majestic man whom treated us to lunch as
we worked here on Cape Cod. "CD", the first day I recall meeting him, had
thought I had propositioned his sister. "CD" stood nearly 5' 10", nearly
170 lbs and was a wrestler in training. This fact did not scare me,
although we were face to face, up close and personal, him dropping his head
down to mine (I stand 5' 6" and near 110 pounds at the time). Although we
resided near each other, he went to one school, I another. He also was a
food specialist in training (Cape Cod Tech).
He could make light of a situation, bringing laughter to the most sad of
hearts. He was fiercely loyal to his family yet, alas, no true violence
ever seemed to come from his hands. I must say, he could coerce people to
do the oddest fun things though! He listened to the "up and coming" rock
and roll bands. He introduced me to the band Rainbow, 38 Special, Faster
Pussycat, Dokken, Bon Jovi, Stryper, the "new" Black Sabbath with Ronnie
James Dio (in place of Ozzy Osbourne). When I sat on his bare back, he'd do
sit ups, 150 sit ups in a row, lifting his body off the ground to clap his
hands. We'd play ball, football, drive in his car, he'd pick me up from
work, take me home, I'd sleep over in his room. One night, as quiet as the
two of us could whisper, only feet apart, from the other side of the home,
his Dad came in and told us to go to sleep. LOL
Before CD owned a vehicle, we'd walk to and fro from near the center of
Yarmouth to the south side of Yarmouth. One day, someone tried to run us
over, not once, but three times. It stopped when CD hurled a rock, bigger
than a softball through the passenger window. Only the driver was in that
vehicle.
We used to "hang out" at the local bowling alley and yeah, back then, the
1980's as young teenagers (before CD owned a car) we somehow managed to get
"of age" adults to purchase alcohol. Oh my he could drink heavily and
almost never stumble. Well one night he did, when he was 16 (of age to
drive), I let him hang his arm over my shoulder as we walked home. He
decided to finish the walk himself, through a dark unlit trail. His parents
found him inside his own vehicle, asleep in the back seat, the vehicle
parked in their driveway.
His girlfriend, she almost dated me first. They lasted maybe six months.
His next girlfriend, maybe a few weeks. CD, after his grandfathers passing,
never managed to hold employment with the same employer for more than a few
months at a time. Although staying in the same trade, some companies
knowing the other companies or not, word got around and most importantly,
his own behavior got the best of him, always fired or quitting. I suppose
the best of the situations were that, such as school, he was going from
class to class, excelling, just an analogy there.
CD left technical school and eventually attained his GED. Somehow, CD and I
managed to find marijuana, one way or another. There was the occasional
fake marijuana, the theft of our combined money (is it really theft or a
promise to return the gesture later, determined by the ah, "crook".)
Eventually, CD became a dire alcoholic and I even I and he, went separate
ways. We'd keep in contact. The day of my brothers wedding, was the same
day as CD's. CD's wedding reception was at the Sandwich Tavern, of
Sandwich, MA.
You're probably wondering why I mentioned those movies "Universal Soldier" &
"The Point Of No Return". You'll understand, I am getting to those reasons.
CD, he was employed to care for his beautiful bride and their newborn
daughter. It was at CD's wake, I finally met his widow and his daughter, of
whom resembled CD almost identically. Almost a week after the wake (I missed
the funeral), I found their home and met with Mrs. CD in her driveway. I
promised her then and hold myself to that promise to this day to help her
and CD's daughter.
So, how did CD die?
When we were teens, would you believe, during the 1980's, I spoke with him
about todays world? Yes, today's world, from the early 1990's to this day,
April 24, 2007 and how he could play a important role in the survival of the
human race. There was someone else with us that day, I know her now as my
wife, Leonda.
Leonda Emmerich and I met during the early 1970's and knew each other from a
past life, our family tree shows this.
As for CD, during 1991, New Years Eve, he died of an enlarged heart, cocaine
usage. Whether he was using then or had stopped years ago, the combination
of medicines he needed for his heart, although available, were not
attainable then, he had little or no insurance. The night of his death,
although my then friend and I were blocks away from Cape Cod Hospital, as we
stood outside, we could hear the lone, wailing ambulance shortly after
midnight, January 1. CD died in his bed, his wife, learning of this death
herself, notifying help. They resided approximately 10 miles or less away
from the hospital.
Ever seen a corpse twitch? I refer to a corpse that has been embalmed. I
did, in fact, the elderly man before me, lifted CD's clasped hands and arms
almost two feet in the air. I watched the arms and hands go down into the
same position and place they rested. It was within two feet of his head I
knelt. CD's head twitched my direction for almost less than one second.
Mrs. CD, the daughter, according to CD's parent - whereabouts, unknown
(circa 2004) CD's sister, I know how to contact her.
"Say, isn't that CD?" "Yes it is but we all know he's dead". I heard and
watched my employer and his boss say that to each other, as I stood outside
their office. At the end of the courtesy counter, indeed "CD's" likeness
was readying to walk out. I learned the next day that the Sandwich Tavern
went up in flames the night before.
There is a Bible toting, rock and roll singing preacher in New York now,
this I learned of one day during late 2006. It was in a New York newspaper,
I held in my hands, with the preachers photo on the front page, singing to
and with the young. National news via television reported that President
Bush had made a decision to contact leaders of the exact same faith within
less than 24 hours of the newspaper print. Yep, a promise is a
promise, from the point of no return, a soldier of any religion, universal.
Dolly the sheep, the cloned Dolly the sheep? Pffft, a symbol for and to any
God.
It has been reported during the late summer of 2006 that Osama Bin Laden had
died of a mosquito bite. As soon as I realized this internet news release,
I wrote to discredit Bin Ladens death, almost immediately afterwards, CNN
Headline news disputed Osama Bin Ladens death. The story quickly ran it's
course in the major news media.
I ask you, if you were beaten, dragged, whipped, nailed to a cross with a
crown of thorns on your head, such as Jesus Christ was, if you had the
chance to come back a second time, would you? Would you arm yourself?
The Virginia Tech killer April 15, 2007 32 dead, 15 injured (please read
"Cho's Connection" http://www.mahlers.com/chosconnection.htm), "Cho", a
citizen of the USA, of whom with his family immigrated from South Korea in
1992, made reference to dying on the cross such as Jesus Christ did. I
believe that Cho did not act alone, yet he was singular, such as a self
thinking, self propelled cell. There was a CNN report, within a news
ticker that wrote of Cho's actions, immediately followed by the belief that
an underground Japanese movement is working. This news came after my news
to Virginia State Police, CBS4 News and M2 Technologies Inc.
M2 Technoligies Inc. owned and operated by Janet & Chris Morris, with
volunteers, employees worldwide work to bring to a stop snipers and small
arms nuclear armaments. They also work to provide non lethal technology to
the medical, governmental, military and civilian persons world wide.
"The 40 Minute War", released publicly during 1984, attracted the attention
of former Deputy Director of the CIA (Central Intelligence Agency) Ray S.
Cline. Cline gave President John F. Kennedy, by his own hands, to the
President, the Russian nuclear missile silo photos, located in Cuba, circa
1961-1963. Mr. Cline, almost immediately hired Janet & Chris Morris and
took them on as protégés, circa the late 1980's - early 1990's. Why? The
original cover of "The 40 Minute War" speaks visual volumes nowadays.
Please read: "Who'd Have Thunk?" http://www.mahlers.com/wht.htm The cover
alone, via a mass social conscience combined with early intelligence work,
helped prevent the destruction of either the Oval Office or the Capital
Building of Washington D. C., September 11, 2001.
Leonda Emmerich, now Mahler is Mrs. Janet Morris direct descendant, Deborah,
died 1979, Leondas mother, was Janets sister.
Dearest Mrs. CD & daughter, luv, Leonda & William.
