This may be a little late but I thought I'd go ahead and mention it just in case:

I've been making a couple trips a month to Vegas and have found a very nice restaurant & tapas bar which could make an ideal location for our NAB get togethers. It's just south of the Convention Center on Paradise, has a wide selection of food items at not-too-outrageous prices and is a cool place to hang. Food is served until all hours of the morning, the staff is accomodating and the atmosphere is very comfortable.

They have nothing booked for the 20th and would be willing to let us have their patio & entry area without any fees or commitments. I assured them it was a group who liked to eat & drink.

Thoughts?

I have no love for Napoleon's at the Paris. It's worked out ok but it has
many problems with seating, noise, and smoke. It's convenient for everyone
staying at the strip hotels, but that's about it. I'd welcome a change of
venue.

I second that also. Although I have not been to all the ramps get togethers,

I do remember Napoleon's being very loud, very smokey and not too much else
to really recommend it. I would vote for a change and Kurt's suggestion (if
it was his?) sounds good to me.

Just in case people want to eat dinner, there's also sushi, woodfired pizza and Moroccan (with belly dancing) in the same parking lot in the event someone can't find what they want on the menu.

I'll give them a call and let them know we're coming if there's enough interest...

I was trying to be funny... I guess I put myself right in the line of fire.

And yes, you are all quite right... no one wants to see me dance, belly or
otherwise. So, let's drop it... my fault. (can't blame this on Microsoft).

Actually Microsoft is soon to be releasing a JW dancer. You can find
download information at:

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/plus/dme/Music.asp#dancer

They still don't have the JW dancer available...but I'm sure it's coming
soon.

I think I will wait for the first Service Pack... it is bound to be buggy

Yes, I'm told the first version will have back problems and read newspapers
all day. Hopefully they can fix that in the next release.
