some TV, some small parts in movies) but maybe if she got
the role would need to work on her dance moves a wee bit,
but anyway she just has the same vibe and ballsy vocals,
e.g. I like the Denial track with MP3 on the main
page (not the MP3s section which has the first two CDs
but the third one is on the main page) of http://www.lizband.com
and the fourth upcoming CD should be melodic rock
with soaring gutsy female vocals. But anyway she just
has the same vibe as Judy as if both were reincarnated
from the same other species or something (speculation).

Eleanor Powell was a marvelous dancer in her day. So was Jane
Russell, Cyd Charisse, Ginger Rogers, Judy Garland and in my opinion
especially Julliet Prowse whom I had the honor/pleasure of dancing
with on more than a few ocassions years ago. All of these ladies were
class acts and they deserve respect whether you liked them or not! I
am amazed at the level of your disrespect.

Gentlemen, everyone has style preferrances. If you don't like
someone's dance style that does not mean they are a bad dancer. It
simply means that you do not like their style and your opinions are
not the measurement that the rest of us should adhere to. If you are
not fond of one of these ladies dance style, simply say, "I'm
personally not fond of her style." Why can't you clowns that
dominate this web site because you have no life, nor do you have a
clue how to get one, at least demonstrate a little class when you're
waving your ignorance like a flag for the whole world to muse at? Do
you guys really not realize how foolish you look when you do this on
every subject under the sun even when you clearly know absolutely
nothing about the subject?

In one way or another, all of these women helped create the foundation
for dance that you enjoy today. I for one am thankful for their
contributions! I personally am not overly fond of all of them on the
dance floor, but I certainly appreciate what they helped do for me/us.

about the ability levels of Astaire, Kelly, Murray, O'Connor, Buttons,

George W. Bush and Dick Cheney should be impeached for two reasons:

They led the United States into an illegal, unconstitutional war in
Iraq.
They misled the Congress and the American people with five falsehoods
that led to war.

All it takes is one Member of the House of Representatives to call for
an Impeachment Inquiry to start the process to investigate the two
grounds. If the House then votes by a simple majority for Articles of
Impeachment, the Senate would then undertake a trial of the President
and Vice President. They would only be convicted, and impeached, if
two-thirds of the Senate agrees.

Nobody dances like Eleanor Powell! I have seen performances by all
the great dancers, from Bill Robinson to the dancers of today, and
none of them come close to Eleanor Powell's incredible dancing skill,
grace, and showmanship. Her dancing abilities were so extraordinary,
that she could have taught Fred Astaire a few dance moves. I think
Eleanor's juke box dance number (with Fred Astaire) in "Broadway
Melody of 1940" confirms her greatness as a dancer. If people
carefully study this entire dance number, they will clearly see
several segments where Fred Astaire is exercising more effort than
Eleanor Powell. Throughout the entire number, Ellie's performance is
fluid and effortless, whereas Fred's is less fluid and more
mechanical. This does not demean Fred Astaire's greatness as a
