New this week at Digital Conquest!
CREATURE: Exciting and gory science fiction horror movie about a
research team that lands on Titan and finds that an ancient creature
has been freed from its containment after thousands of years by a
rival team from Germany. All of the German team is dead except for the
slightly deranged Hans 'Rudy' Hoffner and the beast is getting hungry
again. With their ship damaged and no chance of help, they'll have to
find a way to survive before they fall victim to the mind controlling
life-forms that the creature uses to manipulate its prey. There's
action, nudity, gore and tremendous atmosphere so we have no trouble
recommending this underrated classic! NOTE: Malone filmed this in
Panavision. The problem is that it has never before been made
available in that correct ratio. We have managed to find a print that
is partially letterboxed, about 1.85:1 (the opening scenes up through
the titles are fully 2.35:1 as are the ending credits). We decided to
offer it anyway since it looks light years better than any other
release version we have ever seen outside of theaters! English
language with Japanese subtitles.
HOSTAGES!: A terrific cast is only one of many reasons why this
Mexican/Italian/Spanish crime/action/thriller is so easy to recommend!
A gang plans for a big score and it's time to put it into action; they
will rob several casinos at once and then hook up in time to leave the
country and enjoy all that money. None of it goes exactly as planned
and the police are really on their game so trouble is everywhere.
Three of the criminals, including the leader, hide out in the house of
a man of some local importance and regard. They torture and generally
abuse him, his family and the hired help while waiting for a chance to
break away. Tension is only how it starts… Meanwhile, the rest of the
robbers find themselves scattered about the city, they are armed and
very desperate so havoc abounds! An impressive amount of adrenaline
charged action, some nudity, a little gore, a tease of sleaze, and
lots of violence are present throughout this cool but seldom seen
movie from the director who gave us Night of a Thousand Cats, Cyclone
and so much more! Enjoy this now totally uncut and in English language
with Japanese subtitles.
