I have a Petrol bag and I want to get a new harness. Which is more
comfortable, the petrol, the verasflex HS1, or the portabrace AH 3MEM?
Which one has more usable features? Will the portabrace work with the
pegz-2? Thanks

I have the tried the petrol and own the portabrace AH3MEM and suggest
going with the Petrol. I'm convinced that they design these things
with empty bags. |

Don't touch the portabrace harness. it's a nightmare. I use the
petrol and recently purchased a thin non-padded versaflex. Like them
both. The versaflex adjusts very nicely in and around the shoulder /
arms. |

I would suggestlooking at the very basic Portabrace harness. It's not
comfortable but it enables me to remove my bag in seconds and that
gives me break which turns out to be easier on my back over the course
of the day.

Hi Glen,
I'm thinking of buying a Versa-Flex, but they're not available in the
UK so can't try before buying so I'm struggling regarding a decision
on size.... I'm 6ft1 with broad shoulders, so I'm guessing I need the
HS-1. However, did you buy the HS-3 because you're a smaller frame,
OR because the HS-1 straps were uncomfortably-wide?
Thanks for your help,
Jason |

Jason,
It sounds like the HS-1 is the obvious choice for
you to try. Too bad it's not easy for you to try one before you buy.
I am a mere 5'5" so the HS-3 is
a perfect fit for me.

In a former post a few months ago, I remember having read that some
will go with the narrower straps because the largest ones will
interfere between shoulders and neck when booming... |
