The measure of "entertainment success" for an expose documentary like
FOOD, INC. is how much the audience gets pissed off at the targeted
powers that be ...and, on that score, FI does quite well. Of course,
any thoughtful viewer will spot some smudges on the movie's polemics.
But, imo, those are relatively few and apolitical. (Fwiw, the one
explicit dig at Dubya is quickly followed by its Clinton twin.)
Moreover, the careful viewer will note that this whodunit, despite a
large and despicable rogue's gallery, arrives at a somewhat surprising
and fairly depicted villain. By all means, do have dinner *before*
the movie, but... FOOD, INC. is recommended.
