We have seven crewmen from the Enterprise down on a hostile planet
in the shuttle craft with terrible giant beasties attacking them. One
of the crewmen (white man) has been killed by said beasties.
Black Lt. Boma is hopping mad at Spock for wanting to take
off instead of getting out of the shuttle craft and GIVING THE
WHITE MAN A DECENT BURIAL!!!! LMOA!!!!!!!!!

I think you misunderstood the episode. It's you who thinks his skin
colour is important. The script presents him as an ethnically neutral
character. Anybody could have played the role. All of the episode's
ethnic conflict is Human vs. Vulcan.

Even if we insist on reading racial content into it, you're still
wrong. In that case, Boma was simply "fighting the man" (in this
case, the living Spock, not the dead Gaetano), and opposing him at
every turn. (Most of the others were too, but let's ignore that for
the sake of your point). If Spock says don't bury him, Boma says bury
him. If Spock says bury him, Boma says don't bury him. If Spock says
Tomato, he says Tomahtoe. How could you have missed something so
simple?

I'm sorry if this spoils a 40 year laugh, but you've got to admit that

Yes, if theres one area that it is almost impossible to over estimate we
