Actually, he is doing time right now in our beautiful country. Federal
administration court just refused the bail offered - a house in the
state of Berne. The judges reasoned he'd most probably flee again.
So Mr Polanski is still in police custody fighting his extradiction.
If I were Swiss, I'd stay alert for rumors that Polanski has weapons
of mass destruction...

I have no doubt Polanski is going to get out of this, he won't serve
any time, most of them never do. But if he does go to jail, he could
do something useful, like teach classes on movie-making. He owes it
to the system since he raped someone and managed to avoid prosecution
for 30+ years.
I know he is in jail in switzerland, but i don't know if he is serving any time...
unless you mean serving time in the U.S. ...
I don't see him gettin out of it...

so I'm betting he's be sent to the U.S. and put in jail...
