Hello all,
Can anyone help me translate subtitles for a silent Russian
film, Mirazhi (1916), into English? The subtitles, in Bulgarian
no less, are available from http://www.sub-titles.net, at

When I open the zip file, I get a SubRip (.TXT) formatted file
that won't work in Google translate. I get gibberish.
I think the issue lies in the Unicode coding, but can't figure
out how to convert to Windows Western so I can run the text
through Google translate.
Thanks in advance if anyone can help.
