In the UK they have a satellite TV channel which seems to be similar
to the US channel Spike TV, called Movies 4 Men. The great thing about
M4M is that they have an easy to search schedule... the bad thing is
that they keep showing movies I wrote. One week they had 7 movies I
wrote - one per day. I joke about it on my blog - apologizing to
people in the UK. But I always check to see what I'm unleashing on
expecting viewers in the UK this week...
Well, on 9/10 (Thursday) I have 2 films playing back-to-back...
15:45 - Black Thunder - When the world's most powerful stealth jet
fighter falls into enemy hands, only one man can get it back. Starring
Michael Dudikoff.
17:30 - Crash Dive - The crew of a nuclear submarine rescues supposed
victims of a boat disaster, but the victims turn out to be terrorists
intent on capturing nuclear weapons aboard the sub.
I am so sorry... If you live in the UK, please try to avoid these
films. Both star master-thespian Michael Dudikoff, who was that
American Ninja fellow and Tom Hanks' pal in Bachelor Party. One was
made for HBO and the other for Showtime cable network. One of them may
have been remade with a pony-tailed action star two years ago - but
was oddly not nearly as good as my original despite costing 6 times as
much to make.
And I'll be in London next month: film fest and then teaching my 2 day
class...

and hope there will not be angry mobs waiting for me.

lol!
movies4men is a strange channel for sure - it's part of a basket it seems -
zone horror, true movies etc etc.
they are all free to air and charactarised by all the voiceovers being done
by some irish guy trying to sound deep and gravelly.
they do show some strange stuff.

I called and complained already. They will be
replacing your films with Pee-wee Herman flicks.

Thank you. You have saved the UK from a fate worse than GIGLI.
