JULY 21, 2009
In celebration of the type of entertainment the Strand originally
presented in 1914, The Strand Theater Initiative is proud to present
an evening of silent film classics including a
Felix the Cat cartoon, a
Charlie Chaplin short (The Pawnbroker), and
Buster Keaton’s feature film masterpiece, The General.
Your enjoyment of the films will be enhanced by live piano
accompaniment and a performance by the Strand Community Choir.
