Was Rhonda Fleming's real name Rhona Fleming? Just curious because a
Victorian novelist, George Meredith, wrote a book entitled _Rhonda
Fleming_ that I thought might have been the source if her name was
otherwise.

The latest issue of "Films of the Golden Age" has a good interview with
Fleming. In it she explains that David O. Selznick felt her name of Marilyn
Louis wasn't commercial, and crame up with her screen name.
