Does anyone here have any experience, or read about any experience, with
Red's line of digital cameras? (You'll find what I'm talking about at
www.red.com.)
If the cameras are as good as they claim, and as cheap, they could
revolutionize digital photography.

I played with one, and it actually feels like a film camera. Image quality
was nothing to write home about, and the lenses felt like converted still
camera lenses, but it was entirely usable.

It's nice, but I'm not giving up my CP-16 any time soon.

Haven't seen or heard any reports, but a DoP of my acquaintance is
planning to acquire a kit - camera, a couple of lenses and other
accessories.
I plan to ask him for a "test drive", or at least, some footage to play
with and compare.
