Hi Chris,
My experience was that the going rate for a used 302 was so close to
the price of a new mixer that I was better off paying the extra for
the security of knowing I had a warranty.
They really are exceedingly inexpensive for what you get.
Good luck in your search, should it continue.

Being the purchaser of a new one, and a used one, I MUST agree with
Hunter. I should have just paid new price for the second one and had
the warranty! It works just fine, but for a few small things, that
under warranty I would have had fixed!
For it's intended purpose, it is a heck of small, little, black box!!
I don't leave home without both of them!!!

New is always best, but I just sold one for $1000 and I think he got a
good deal. New is $1295 MAP. Now, when I see a 744t with an opening
bid of $3650 when a new one is $4095--and it's a recorder, not a
mixer--I couldn't agree with you more. 77% of new price vs. 89%. I
bought a lot of used gear starting out and still do for some items if
the price is right. Good luck.

you just forgot one thing .
recorder you bought for 4100 would cost 3700- 2 weeks later
the warranty is 1 year ( in usa )
the sd labor rate is 75 usd - to fix recorder and replace defective
part don't take more then 2 hours total
shipping inside usa - 50 bucks maximum - so in the worse case you shipped
twice a year - you lost 500maximum
in best case you don't ship at all, you save 400 .
and remember when you buy new you become one of the reasons for falling
the price on used equip
about 302 - it more depends who do you buy from and how lucky you with the
rulet , as the chances are much worse then buy used wendt3 :-)
