I know I keep asking this question every so often here but is there any news on
the long awaited Laughsmith Silent Our Gang set?
Also after watching my 20 year old VHS copy of Running Wild and awaiting my
Amazon order (via Movies Unlimited) of It's the Old Army Game (probably DVDr), I
am wondering if there is a chance in hell Paramount would put a box set of the
surviving Fields silents together? I'd love to see So's Your Old Man which I
can't find anywhere on DVD.
I enjoyed watching Running Wild again (the first time on my 70 inch HDTV) but
the 20 year old tape is showing its age and the limitations of that format (I
couldn't get rid of the occasional "curling" at the top of the screen no matter
how much I fiddled with the tracking).
