Why couldn't they have given her pain killers and then tried
to heal her ankles? She could have been kept comfortable
and had some more life while they tried. It looks like she
was under the control of god-damned killing-happy liberals.

Charlotte's Web comments should go in the Past Films group.

3. It's the "liberal" groups like PETA that are opposed to horse

traditionalists (like you) who prefer to preserve the sport, with the
occasional euthanasia that is inevitably entailed.

I'm no fan of horse racing, and would not give a cent to
support it.

Nor do I believe in instant euthanasia, as long as pain
killers are available, as they certainly are at a race track.

It is liberals who are eager to euthanize (and abort) in general.

You're a liar.

Not at all. Bill Frist said *he* heard the race on the radio, and is
sure the horse merely had leg cramps...

Moving from horses to people, liberals love people who are
dependent, as long as they can vote; but as soon as they
are too helpless to vote, kill 'em.
oi.

People are people, each a separate independent unit. Collectively we
can, and sometimes do, perform decently, even heroically.

And then, and then...

But if you keep this up you divide us into neat little piles. Piles
are easy to sweep up, put in your pocket and tote away.

Seems what the original post is about is a horse was raced, the horse
got hurt, the horse was killed. Along the way favorite bogey men were
invoked to pin the blame on, but remember Hate is just like exercise-
the more you do it, the better you get at it.

I leave it to the faithful n.g. reader to assign on topic relevance to
this

When misfortune occurs, having someone to blame helps.
When scrambling for someone to blame, having favorite villains helps.

This n.g. is sometimes just about helping.

Even if that's true, the only help available for calvin is a nice long
talk with Dr. Phil. And wouldn't you want to be a fly on the wall for
that conversation?
