Hey Guys,

Complete newbie here...have never shot with Super8mm...but just
purchased a Canon 814XLS off Ebay for an African trip....also purchase
a good deal of Kodak Vision200T filmstock.

Most of my shooting will be outdoors.

It seems that I hear the rumor that this camera will not permit one to
engage it's internal 85 filter when this particular film stock is
used....and that one must therefore purchase an external 85 filter for
the lens...I am wondering if anyone knows whether or not this is the
case?

Thank You,

Sean

Come-on, someone's got to be able to set me right here.

Has anyone shot Kodak Vision2 200T with a Canon 814XLS? Does the
cartridge permit the internal 85 filter to engage? I hear rumors that
some camers cannot engage the internal 85 filter (daylight filter)
because the Vision2 200T cartridge is missing a "notch".

Do I need to buy an external 85 filter?

Need to know as I leav for Africa in 2 Days!

Send Help,

Sean
