Where would you buy plastic 8/S8 reels and cans, and Kodak Presstapes (or
any other brand) in bulk? In other words, where do the retailers or transfer
houses get these items?

Thanks

Christy's Editorial in Burbank, CA. probably sells them. Their prices seem
high, but they do carry a wide variety of this sort of product.

While we're talking supplies, anyone know who carries the best-priced
35mm cores?

They buy them from Kodak. I _think_ some of that stuff is still available through a motion picture
account, which is fairly easy to get. A lot of things, though, may require a consumeer photo account
with Kodak.

Most of the cores out there are made by FPC. Ask any lab for them. I think I got a bucket of
them for cheap from Alpha last time.

Christy's or Super 8 Sound. Vendors are few and far between these
days. Kodak has stopped making a lot of this stuff.
