Yes they carry audix, and it is cheaper...audix scx-1c for $479.00 and
the Gefell is $690.00, both in my range as opposed to a Sennheiser
50.
I've got both the Audix and the 50. I love the 50 but the Audix is
becomming a new favorite. Another budget priced mic that I've have had
for years and like a lot is the AKG Blueline series. One advantage of
the modular Blueline series is the available swivel adapter and the
capsule extention cable. You really can't go wrong with either the Audix
or the Blue line.
