I am looking for a movie title. Unfortunately, I can only remember a
few scenes from, please help.
FILM #1:
I saw this movie in the theatres in 1984. It is about a scientific
researcher who goes to the arctic to study wolves. I remember a scene
which is close to the beginning of the movie where this guyis dropped
off by a plane in the middle of an empty area which is covered in deep
snow. He ends up spending a night in a large cardboard box to avoid
freezing to death in the extremely cold temperatures and howling
winds.
I remember a second scene towards the middle of this movie where this
same guy befriends a Native Indian/Eskimo who appears to be missing
some teeth and then are inside of a makeshift cabin near a frozen
lake. I saw this movie in Canada and I believe the movie may actually
be a Canadian production itself.
I have searched a lot of Internet movie databases to no avail. Does
anyone happen to know the title of this movie?. Any help would be
greatly appreciated.
FILM #2:
I saw this movie just a few years ago on television, but I believe it
was made in the 1970s or 1980s.
The movie is about a female American spy who is living in Iraq during
the 1960s. She befriends an Iraqi Christian male who is a pilot in the
Iraqi airforce, and tries to get them to defect. He is unaware of her
intentions in the beginning and they have a secret romance together. I
remember a scene where she takes him to Rome and they sneak out of
Iraq together and return the same way without anyone knowing they are
both gone. I remember a second scene where he does defect and flies
his fighter jet to Israel towards the end of the movie. The woman in
this film has blond hair and blue eyes. The movie ends with both of
them together in Israel just days after the 1967 Arab-Israeli war.
I have searched a lot of Internet movie databases to no avail. Does
anyone happen to know the title of this movie?. Any help would be
greatly appreciated. |

One of my favorites. "Never Cry Wolf" with Charles Martin Smith.
Lots of fun. "Good idea." |

I've seen and recall from the first recall the scientist eating a
lemming, at one point, to get an idea of the of the wolves intake.
Second sounds only vaguely familiar to also say with any certainty if
seen.
