I've got a number of image sequences, shot at 24fps, that I'd like to
convert to 30 fps (or should it be 29.97?), using Digital Fusion. In
the loader, I set it to "NTSC fields" instead of frames, and "2:3
pulldown" under import. There is no 3:2 pulldown, though that's what
Fusion help says to use. Well, the resultant avis are 30 fps, but
they look like crap--chockful of what I imagine would be called
fielding errors.

The reason I ask about the 29.97 issue is that the avis will be cut
together in Premiere Pro, and output to another avi or mov which will
then be transferred to DVD. They will be interspersed with other avis
with a native 30fps frame rate. I have the original frames for those
avis as well. Might I be better off using Fusion to convert those
frames to 24fps avis, and changing the Premiere file to 24 instead of
30?

Thank you,
Stan
