Well know LA mixer Jim Tannenbaum teaches this course. I think 60%
of the union mixers in LA would have something to learn here. Jim is
fanatical about solving difficult sound problems and has MANY answers
for even very experienced folks. Strange that most "working"
soundmixers have no appreciation for education (this excludes all people
on this list of course)
I would say these would be 500 bucks well spent for even academy award
winners.... Jims basic understanding and bag of tricks can be taught to
those foks in a few hours... but of course there is none who would
organize that kind of course for proffesionals - too compeditive?...
proffesionals are slowly limping into oblivion, being replaced by better
technology and PAs moving up.
Reality show foks should definitly take this course...
