Arad & Marvel Films
Robert Sanchez of IESB, talked with Avi Arad, and here is what he learned
about some upcoming projects:
Spider-Man 3
Arad said that Sam Raimi "miscommunicated." He definately plans more
Spider-man movies in the future.
X-3
Is Joss Whedon still being considered to direct? Yes, and Whedon getting the
movie will not be contingent with how well Serenity does. He was quick to
confirm that Singer`s departure was simply that Warners offered him more
money for "Superman Returns."
Ghost Rider
Arad`s news here was that Jon Voight is out as an actor, but he will be in a
producing situation and so remains attached to the project.
Iron Fist
Ray Park remains attached but the project is far down the line in priority.
Fantastic Four
Still from IESB, but now from Producet Ralph Winter. When he was asked if
Galactus or the Silver Surfer was in the offing, he giggled and said, "Funny
you ask, we were talking about the Silver Surfer just the other night. " Tim
Story added, " Of course, it obviously depends on the success of this film
but I would like to see the Silver Surfer."
