LOOK AT MY SHORTS FILM FESTIVAL
This Thursday night is the free screening - the LOOK AT MY SHORTS FILM
FESTIVAL at the Arena Grand, in theatre 3 at 7:30PM. Did I say FREE?
Why yes I did. FREE, as in no cost or donations. 17 movies on the big
screen and lots of filmy type people will be there to mingle and
network and talk about future projects and the goings-on of past
projects.

QUEEN CITY FILM FESTIVAL
Novemebr 21st, several Sonnyboo short films will play as a part of the
QUEEN CITY FILM FESTIVAL in Cincinnati. Several other big flicks will
play too, as in THE CALLING (many a Columbus Filmmaker worked on it)
and THE KING OF IRONTOWN from my friend Mickey Fisher. I can't wait to
see KING OF IRONTOWN. Scott Spears shot it and Micky is one of the
coolest cats I've ever met. I'm going more to see his movie than any
of my own. It's an ambitious feature film and what I have seen was
compelling.

48 HOUR FILM PROJECT
ALWAYS LATE won another award with the 48 HOUR FILM PROJECT in
Cincinnati - we got "BEST USE OF CHARACTER". THe movie that won BEST
OF CINCINNATI was called "Glorius" and it DESERVED to win. It was
great and the filmmakers were gracious and cool.

MOVIEOLA
Several more Sonnyboo shorts are set to air in 2004 and 2005 on
MOVIEOLA THE SHORT FILM CHANNEL. Another tape of shorts was mailed
last week and will get fast tracked into the playlists (meaning within
6 months as opposed to 12-1
. MOVIEOLA broadcasts all over Canada and
may (we hope) invade the U.S. airwaves and cable lines sometime in the
frst quarter of 2005.
