I sent them an email, asking about it, mentioning my readers and an

I'll pass.

Hi again,

So are you are going to pass on this program because you notified them
of your position. Anyway does anyone else have any opinions on this
program, so far it seems pretty stable for the features it carries.

Thanks Again

I know the guys at H3o Filmed Entertainment just got hit hard by the sudden
shift in the UK funding loss.

With the recent cash crunch in the UK and two very important film

Anyone here caught in the cross fire like myself? Any suggestions?

By the way, what is leaseback financing and how does it work?

I appreciate your responses,

Well, I guess you'll have to do what the rest of us in the US have had to

Big time American films starring top talent are being cancelled
because
of it.

Frankly, as a UK taxpayer, I see not the SLIGHTEST reason why I should be
financing other people's films! And if these films are 'big time' and
'American' with 'top talent' then frankly that's all the more reason to
withdraw monies that we primarily pay to build Schools and Hospitals and
put
policemen on our streets!

If these endevours are finacially viable then commercial financing should
be
found. And don't spin me the line about grants financing UK jobs in the
industry! Again, if it's a commercial enterprise it needs to stand on
it's
own two feet. If UK technicians and service Companies want work they need
to
be good at what they do and price themselves competatively.

If we're talking about films that should be made on artistic merit or to
encourage new British talent then fine. I'm sure a scheme where tax breaks
and soft loans are provided to bona fide UK based film makers has it's
merits. We have a UK lottery and maybe there's a case for a specific film
fund sourced from that. Funding for new British talent is about as easy to
source as rocking horse droppings. And yes, I DO realise the situation's
made no better for them by the cuts. However as far as the UK government
funding to ANY extent 'Big time American films' let alone padding out the
bloated and largely excessive lifestyles of this so-called 'top
talent'......

I have two words in mind. The second one is "off" and the first rhymes
with
'Duck'!!!!

I am not from the UK, but Canada and America go to the UK for
financing. So had I. Maybe you should check out the news first.

Um, dude, normally people *invest* in movies.

i disagree. it's often much easier to get donations than to get
investors, especially if we're talking small amounts and independent
films. "give me a thousand dollars because i'm such a great guy, my
project is very important, and i'll be eternally grateful" often works
better than "give me a grand and you might get it back double when i'm
the next robert rodriguez". i'm not sure this is the right place to ask
though, but i'll leave that for others to decide.

Nappy meant "poseur", which is frequently spelled poser. It means fake,

which Scoot most certainly is.
Scoot, I am Prostate Cancer Man, and I am growing rapidly inside you.
Soon I will take over your entire body and snuff out your life.
And the world will forget about you in a millisecond.
Say, have you decided whether you prefer Forest Hills or cremation?

Sorry, but all your tapes will be destroyed after you die.
