I do have the release dates according to Amazon for SCOUTS TO THE
RESCUE and ROYAL MOUNTED RIDES AGAIN. They're both coming out May 29th. |

Yeah, and I think both of 'em contain bonus bios written by me... so
they'll be worth purchasing just for that. *cough cough* And I can
assure everybody: NO LOGOS! Yay!
I think the big news is that Fred Shay at last has a regular outlet
for releasing his superb prints, Restored Serials, a Hollywood-based
company that's been selling on eBay. I've seen their DVDs of THE
SPIDER RETURNS and THE ADVENTURES OF SIR GALAHAD, two serials I've
never seen in good shape from ANYBODY, and I'm quite impressed. You'll
find reviews of both, with frame grabs, up at the Serial Box section
at www.inthebalcony.com, he mentioned casually, slipping in a plug.
G-MEN VS. THE BLACK DRAGON is coming soon from Cheezy Flicks, the
company that has also given us JESSE JAMES RIDES AGAIN and KING OF THE
ROCKET MEN.
I dunno what the Serial Squadron is up to, but it won't have a kiss
edited out of it, I'll bet you. I liked their MYSTERY OF THE
RIVERBOAT, but then, I enjoy Jimmie Dodd's song stylings.... |

Galahad is one of the only two medieval serials, I read, the other
being Son of the Guardsman - I'm assuming you found Galahad a little
more diverting, RLG? :-D
I'm not sure if Arthurian England is medieval, but that's wot I
read! :-S
