I don't know. Have you read DOWN AND DIRTY PICTURES? They get into
petty
arguments with the filmmakers and then just dump the film in a couple
theatres
or shelve it.
Look at all the awful Miramax films that do get released and don't make
money.
Yes, I have -- but there's a difference between films that make money
and films they THINK will make money.
Prozac Nation is a film that would desperately need critical support,
and the one thing they didn't get at the festival screenings was
critical support.
