Lloyd: I think Kid Brother is his greatest film but it is too long for
this. Perhaps
Grandma's Boy, Girl Shy or excerpts from Hot Water (is that the one
where he carries a live turkey onto a streetcar)
No, I'm thinking strictly two-reelers.

There's one quite weird (even for Sennett) Keystone short, I
believe named something like "Tingle Tangles" with Roscoe; Charlie,
and Ford. This was shot at some kind of Actors Ball, with the three
mentioned, fighting over (I believe) Minta Durfee.
But the *real* participants at the dance are all dressed in
costumes, one guy in convict stripes is dancing with a guy dressed as
a cop. Of course the music I heard on video didn't match the dancers
who seemed to be dancing
"the Bear", an old Barbary Coast favorite.
"Tango Tangles", from 1914. I actually like this one since we get to see
Arbuckle, Chaplin, Sterling, etc. out of their grotesque makeup. I've never
seen a good copy available, either on VHS or DVD, so it may be difficult to
show.
