Hi all!

I was wondering if anyone could help me here. I have Akai Z8 sampler,
which I bought after reading numerous encouraging reviews in
magazines. The thing is pretty good, except for one thing...

I can't find appropriate SDRAM module to upgrade the sampler memory!
I've tried various models, following the specs (PC100 or 133, CL2),
max 256MB per module, but none of those I've tried seem to work!

I know there is ALOT of problems with SDRAM modules, but I can't find
a list of those that work with Z8 samplers. Akai International does
not respond, Akai USA does not have a list of supported modules, my
local dealer said to go by trial and error, and that is just
frustrating, as I've heard that I will be able to upgrade to 256MB
only, and VERY difficultly to 512MB, which is again very frustrating
as I need as much of memory as possible for professional orchestral
samples.

Please, tell me there is a solution, and that I have not thrown 2000$
for something that I cannot use.

I appreciate your time.
