I thought folks here might be interested that there are now a number
of Fantomas novels back in print. These are the books that served as
the inspiration for Louis Feuillade's silent serial in 1914. One of
these books, FANTOMAS IN AMERICA, is based on a lost American silent
serial featuring the master criminal.

At www.blackcoatpress.com, you can find DAUGHTER OF FANTOMAS, FANTOMAS
IN AMERICA (written by me) and NICK CARTER VS FANTOMAS, in addition to
their wonderful TALES OF THE SHADOWMEN anthologies.

Also, if you check out www.lulu.com/belthamhouse, you can find
EXPLOITS OF JUVE, NEST OF SPIES and A ROYAL PRISONER as well as the
peripheral entry FANTOMAS OF LONDON.

Also at www.lulu.com/ramblehouse, is the later entry LORD OF TERROR.

Dover and Penguin both sell the original FANTOMAS novel and the Solar
Research Archives will publish the third book in the series (THE
CORPSE WHO KILLS aka MESSENGERS OF EVIL) this July.

It's a good time to be a Fantomas fan! Just a few years ago when I
started researching this series, not a single book was still in print.
Now there are a number of them available.

The Sedgwick serial from 1920 is lost, but the original, more famous
version by Feuillade is still around. It's been released in the UK by
Artificial Eye. The DVD is PAL, but has English subs. It's a
wonderful, thrilling piece of work. Look around on google enough and
sometimes you can even watch it on the web.
