Possibly ( but unconfirmed) the Manzoni in Milan.Italy had 6 3 -strip
cinemas but only 2 were running in the fifties-the rest in the sixties. |

Are you sure those photos are all of the same theatre?
In the 5th photo from the top, there's a picture of the back of the
house on the floor level.
The first thing that caught my eye was that those sure do look like
Heywood-Wakefield end standards.
The next thing is that it sort of reminded me of some Chicago theatre
I can't put my finger on.
The wall looks different from the wall at the back of the house shown
in the lower photo of the theatre with typical galleries: that
theatre has the doors in the side wall at the back grouped in threes &
of an apparently different decorative design.
The light/ventilation fixtures above the seats in the upper photo sure
do look very similar to the ones in of the time used in houses by US
architects. |

Intermixed with the photos of the Italian Cinerama theatre are a number
of Cinerama Corp. publicity photos which may be the cause of some
