Hi,
I never used this tri-level sync box from Lockit. I have a PD-6 and
the camera will be a Sony HD 900F that runs with 23,976 FPS TC.
Which TC rate should I set up for the PD-6? And at the Denecke slate
generator? In case to send TC to slate through Comtek is this change
anything? How many times should I re-sync the Lockit box? At the post
do they need to use the pull down? How do they manage the automatic
sync?
Thanks for help.
All the best,
Paulo Ricardo Nunes |

Nominally, the PD6 and Deneke slate should be set to 29.97 unless post
(picture and sound) have specifically asked for 23.976.
It makes no difference if the slate TC is from the Deneke generator or
a Comtek RF link.
The Lockit box on the camera should be set to 23.976 and Tri-Level
sync as described as described for Sony Tri-Level sync cameras in the
Ambient manual.
Re-Sync every five hours. Preferably you should use an Ambient Master
Controller to set the Lockit, PD6 and Deneke generator every five
hours. The Master Controller will identify any significant timecode
drift with any specific component.
No pull down is required with 23.976 & 29.97
"Automatic" sync is dependent on post process
