Anyone know how to kill them based on message content? Outlook Express News

Outlook Express is a terrible newsreader. You should try Forte Agent, which
you can get here:

http://www.forteinc.com/

This is a first-class, very well-designed newsreader with terrific anti-spam
filters. Mac OSX users can try Hogwasher, which is equally good and has
similar features (at www.hogwasher.com).

Forte Agent is pretty deep. I installed it and have been playing with it for
half an hour and have come to the determination that while it's far more
fully featured then Outlook Express....it takes a pilot's license to use it.
As limited as Outlook Express is in many regards...it's pretty simple and
foolproof to use. I'll have to play with it some more and see if it grows on
me.

I prefer this setup.

I'm sticking it out. It's like crabgrass and Visualnet seems to have
responded.

I dunno. I think it's one of those things like Microsoft Word, where 90% of
most users only use about 10% of its functions, which is all they need. In
other words, you don't need to go that deep into it to use all the basic
features.

The key thing here is stuff like setting up filters is pretty simple. I'm
also told that some of the premium Usenet suppliers, like Giganews and
Supernews, do a lot of spam filtering on their end to prevent a lot of stuff
from getting into the groups. I'm using Giga myself, and I don't think I see
more than maybe 5 or 10 spam messages on RAMPS a day (if that).
