Trevor Blumas Writes Songs, Too
Trevor Blumas, star of the Disney production "Ice Princess" filming right now in
Toronto, besides being an extraordinarily talented actor who has been trained in
drama, art, dance, and music, who sings and can play violin and guitar and
keyboards and wind instruments, who has also said his favorite sport is
football, who skis at a championship level ("Mackenzie Silver Level") and
represented his nation in Norway, who also snowboards and surfs and plays golf
and tennis, who has also expressed an interest in life on other worlds, whose
favorite movie was once a comedy about life after death, and who has for a long
time been well-versed on how to discuss and deal with his sexuality, believe it
or not, with all these talents, also writes his own songs.

"Push It":
We were working on our funnel abilities
Another proud 2-4 what a bright day
Sippin' in the summer breeze
Then the fluffer came, I couldn't wait no longer
I said "what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger"
Just give me a second
I better think twice with the advice
that I've been told
At first glance, my head seems tight, but I don't think I'll hold
Don't push it! We could take a swim but the water's too damn cold
I capsized, there's no reason to go on 'cause the story's getting old
On a bad day it can't escape my mind
Bring the bare necessities
It's a perfect day for sippin' in the summer breeze
Get in your tipped canoe
And the smile you get is for free
Does it chill your bones? Let's see
This song just shouts out loud "Trevor Blumas," and once again, exhibits his
brilliance. This song is a surfer's dream, and although born and now residing in
London, Ontario, Canada, Trevor has surfed often, having lived in Hollywood
Hills for over a year (with Hayden Christensen), right near the Santa Monica
beaches. Read the last lyric, and as Trevor asks "Does it chill your bones?,"
get a chill of your own from the brilliance of his last words "Let's see."
And I understand that there is an entire reggae/ska gay surfer culture in
certain venues throughout the world, and who am I to question such an eclectic
combination of cultural elements?

"Give It Up":
Isn't it funny now you're always trying to give it up
You said three days ago that all of this would stop
I thought by now we could get past this
But you don't want us to be happy
Now I don't go around sticking it out all over town
But if I did I'm sure you'd take a bite like that
Cause in this town you know you're never going to beat the brown
So why can't we get past this
And I won't go for that
It's easier to stick by your side than be alone
If I could give time back
I still wouldn't walk out on you
I wish you'd known
I know it takes so long but I can try and give it up
And three damn days ago it still would have been worth the fuss
Somehow we should have gotten past this
But you don't want us to be happy
So I'm saying that I will be the one
To make it all up to you
Please baby, you're making this no fun
You know I'll give it up for you
This song also shouts out loud "Trevor Blumas," and is a song about a gay
lover's quarrel. In this song, Trevor's boyfriend had sex with Trevor, and then,
when Trevor's boyfriend wanted Trevor to "give it up" to him also in the same
way, Trevor hesitated because of his preference, and the boyfriend went around
and experimented with other boys. When Trevor found out about this, he wrote
this song, and expressed to his boyfriend that he would be willing to give to
his boyfriend what his boyfriend gave to him, in a way that Trevor does not
prefer, but what he would be willing to do for a boyfriend he loves so much.
Trevor's nickname, given to him by his fellow band members, is also a gay slang
term: "Big Bandit," and tells you something more about his sexual preference.
The key to this song is the lyric "Cause in this town you know you're never
going to beat the brown," and in this song, the term "brown" is a gay slang term
that refers to a certain type of gay sex, with Trevor's band being originally
being named the "Brown Town Boys," in dedication to Trevor's sexual preference.
And Trevor's brilliance clearly comes through in this song, in that the second
to last line "Please baby, you're making this no fun," can be interpreted by
straight people as being about a girl, while the term "baby" in this song is
really also a gay slang term, and is really a young Trevor expressing his care
and concern for his young boy lover, while keeping Trevor's sexual preference
secret to some degree, and allowing straight people to also be fans of his band
who do not understand the gay slang meaning of that term, and interpreting it as
a plea to a girl.

So, aside from having studied art and drama, being able to dance, sing, play
violin and guitar and keyboards and wind instruments too, being the best young
actor of his generation who also happens to have performed in the most
conscientious pieces, who loves football, skis at a high competitive level,
plays tennis and golf and snowboards and surfs, has also expressed an interest
in life on other worlds, his favorite movie was once a comedy about life after
death, and has for a long time been well-versed on how to discuss and deal with
his sexuality, Trevor Blumas also writes songs, and in those songs he once again
exhibits his absolute ultra-talent and brilliance at anything he chooses to do.
He is clearly the most remarkably talented young man in the world today, and the
most all-around talented boy ever to be born into this world.
And in case you hadn't noticed, he is also the most beautiful boy alive in the
world today:
