Forgive my non digital post, but im looking for an in camera approach to
putting epic scale fire into a miniature. Miniatures will be shot at
ultra-high stops around 72fps. Id like to avoid double exposing, any form of
compositing, and of course, 2 inch fire pretending to be 20 feet tall. If
anyone knows of candles, materials, fireworks, or anything that can burn to
resemble large scale fire, your advice is appreciated.

ps, also looking for liquids with less surface tension than water for the same
purposes, aswell as liquids that look gold the same way mercury looks silver.
thanks again |

But water can be faked in scale by breaking the surface tension with alchahol
and acids, placing screens and/or objects to break up the water into finer
particles, and increasing the speed at which it flows. Im looking for fire's
equivalent tricks. |
