I liked HAUNTED HARBOR the best. Check out the cast: Kane Richmond,
Kay Aldridge, Roy Barcroft, Kenne Duncan, Bud Geary, George J Lewis,
Hal Taliafero, Clancy Cooper, and more! Lots of great stunts (the
chase up the ladder is especially memorable) and fights, great
cliffhangers, snappy dialogue, and expert direction from Spencer
Gordon Bennett. What more can you ask for???

Favorite is better than "best" because that is what counts. Best is
probably SpySmasher. Favorite for me is a tie between The Phantom and The
Masked Marvel. The former primarily because Tom Tyler is the perfect
Phantom and the latter because of the most mysterious of heroes with a great
mask and physical agility which young boys delighted in copying.
