Hey all,
So being freelance for years, I;ve always credited my make-up effects to my
personal name, or of course to any other shop I was working under.
But in the fall, I bit the bullet, and became an LLC: Monster in my Closet
LLC in fact. So my question, is I want to build busniess of course for the
shop, and I want peopel to watch a film and be able to find me based on that
name (which is google-able to my website, so thats fine) but I also have pride
in my work as all of us do, and I kinda want my name there, so is it too much
to have it listed as: Special effects created by: Monster in my Closet LLC
Head Artist: Jeremy Selenfriend
Than any people I hired out to work with me under that?

Or is that too much, and I should just leave it as the company name and nothing
else...?

So how come you wanted to limit your liability by becoming an LLC?

Because its been far more profitable being a business than being a freelance
artist.
Whatever the reason directors and films are more confident in hiring companies
than hiring people. And to that effect, ive worked on more films so far this
year, than in the last two years combined.
