In Kill Bill V2, when they show the strip club boss's dancer snorting
coke, what is she actually snorting?
What do they use that looks like the real thing but obviously isn't?
Unless Tarantino went for the realism and it actually was coke; highly
unlikely I know, but hey if he filmed this in Mexico who knows?

I understand you can use almost any number of food products to simulate
drugs; powdered milk perhaps?
But then, as you say, Hey.

They can also sneak a vacuum tube into that rolled dollar bill, then
have the actress cover it with her hand and mimic snorting while a guy
off screen works the vacuum to suction off the powder. Snorting sound
effects can be added in by foley guys later. CGI could do it as well.
Of course I'm sure you can find any number of struggling actresses who
would willingly go through take after take of snorting an unknown
substance to land a job |
