Dear all:

I just watched Lost in Translation. I bought the DVD on the
streets of NYC in Chinatown for $4. I finished watching it today. I
found Bob Harris to be a very kind person and he related to the female
lead in an authentic and non-using manner. His interactions with her
was completely selfless--being more a father figure/mentor to her than
someone who would use females for their own selfish gratification
(sex).

That Bob Harris guy is my role model. I aspire to interact with
people in a selfless manner. bob harris was very genuine and
authentic in his relationship with the female lead.

It is a very refreshing movie where people didn't just jump into
sex. There was definitely love between the two characters. Ah. it
was just so good! I am not doing the movie justice because I am not
explaining myself very well. I am going to watch the movie a few more
times and try to get a more succinct review to express my view of the
movie, and to tout what a deep person/selfless person Bob Harris is.
