....that would signal a critic is a paid-off whore who should never be
read seriously again? Seems like any critic worth a dime could avoid
using phrases like, "fun for the whole family" ever. After all, the number
of possible sentences you could compose using the English language is
probably in the trillions if not more, so there is no good reason for a critic
to use the catch phrases we see repeated so often, unless they are
paid-off or simply have no respect for their own writing style.
So a list should be composed of catch-phrases that would be used to
identify the bad critics and forever dissociate them from critics with integrity.

Anytime a critic says a movie is a combination of two other movies, you
know that was concocted by the marketing people.

Like "panic ad". Some people just can't stop using the phrase "panic ad" every
time a new ad for a movie gets aired on TV.

No, number one, I'm not being paid to say it and number two, panic ads
are yet
another example of paid studio hucksterism. The breathless movie
"viewers"
in the "man in the street" sound bites, like the recent ads for that
girl
next door movie (thats bombing) where the teens tell each other (over
cell phones, of course)how great and funny the movie is.
