We are looking for all crew and equipment for several films to be shot
this summer. We have previously produced and sold a film all over the
world and are maybe one of two companies in chicago that are doing
this and know what they are doing. We are looking to make a few
"money" projects (horror, erotic-horror, thriller, urban) as well as
some arthouse films to take to festivals. While most filmmakers think
that they can make a film and submit it to festivals, they fail to
realize that there are political machines behind getting accepted and
we have the relationships and contacts for that and for sales and
distribution without shooting blanks. There is no pay but we will
structure the deal on paper where each crew member/equipment facility
will receive a pro-rated share of profits from the sales of the films.
We just are looking for crew members that will be solid, not flake out
on us and crank out a few of these one after the other knowing that
some will be sold and our odds will be increased with more than one.
We need people who would rather just do it than sit back and pray that
the one or two films shot in chicago every year by studios will maybe
hire them. Food will be provided. Please send us your resume,

Steve, before we send off resumes for this non-paying gig, what film did you sell?

Will this cut of the take be gross or net? Net deals never seem to pay off. |
