John Wayne and Harry Carey were in Angel and the Badman (1946).
JOHN WAYNE'S PAL: Don't like shootin' people - shot a fella once and
thought about it *all* the next day - then, of course, there's always
witnesses and ya gotta shoot *them* too!

Several character actors,including Byron Foulger and Ernie Adams in THE
MAN WITH NINE LIVES,a 1940 Boris Karloff horror movie on TCM.

George Reeves and Harry Lauter (fleetingly!) appeared in the excellent
Bugles in the Afternoon (1952) from Warner Bros. along with Reginald
Truscott-Jones - Reg went from the Royal Household Cavalry to Custer's
7th Cavalry!
Errol Flynn was in a tinted long shot from Warner's They Died with
their Boots On, but he was miles away!

Gregory Peck as a very bad man and Jennifer Jones looking very hot!  |

Where's Jack? (1969) with Tommy Steele - thought Buckskin was
uninteresting then, but found it much more interesting on Five
yesterday - same Western street as Bonanza with a dodgy looking
mountain in the background!

George J. Lewis was possibly in Al Jennings of Oklahoma with Dan
Duryea - Guinn 'Big Boy' Williams had a very good part!

Okay, this is perhaps the unlikeliest "What serial stars have you
spotted?" post of ALL time!
Watched CAPTAINS OF THE CLOUDS (1942) last night, and yeah, it's easy
to spot Frank Lackteen in it. But there's a scene in which Jimmy
Cagney, Alan Hale, and the boys are listening to "Winston Churchill"
on the radio... It's clearly not Churchill, but who is it? Well,
having just spent 12 weeks watching DAREDEVILS OF THE RED CIRCLE
(finished Friday night), I thought it sure sounded likes Miles Mander.
And so it was! |
