i'm not talking about wars that glorify a just cause like WWII movies.
or, even war movies that show the positive aspects of military
service, like camaraderie, courage, sacrifice, etc.

i mean movies that glorify war as ennobling in and of itself
regardless of ideology, war, cause, or whatever.

i guess anything by john milius.

I'd say Verhoeven's "Starship Troopers," which is the opposite effect the
novel was trying to produce.
