My name is David Gasten, and I am the webmaster of the Pola Negri
Appreciation Site (http://www.polanegri.com), a fan site about the
silent/early talkie film actress Pola Negri.
I wanted to let you know about a new web page I have built for a
friend of mine. It's called "The 'Freaks' Show", and is about
"Freaks", the 1932 cult horror movie that made the #3 spot in
Entertainment Weekly's Top 50 Cult Films list (right underneath "This
is Spinal Tap" and "The Rocky Horror Picture Show"!). "The 'Freaks'
Show" contains rare documents about this film, including a full
transcription of the original MGM script synopsis and a rare 1973
article about the making of the film, and dozens of rare pictures from
the film. I invite you to visit this new page at:
http://www.olgabaclanova.com/freaks.htm
"The 'Freaks' Show" is a portion of a new website about Olga
Baclanova, the blonde Russian actress who played Cleopatra, the evil
trapeze artist in "Freaks". You can visit the Olga Baclanova site at
http://www.olgabaclanova.com.
Hope you enjoy what you see! |
